I believe in the importance of credentials, so I am the final stages of obtaining my certification in coaching with ICF. I believe very greatly in the transformative power of coaching in helping people change their lifestyles which is at the core of many chronic diseases. Traditional clinical medicine does not meet this need. I am just starting out in this new arena. I feel I may need a niche within "Health Coaching" and I am not sure who to target and the best way to reach them. People who need this help in changing their lifestyle are everywhere. I now have a specific audience, and a marketing plan that now gets me in front of them. I figured out (with her help!) that 1:1 networking was going to be my best strategy, and 1 month in I am getting clients at EVERY meeting so far. I am now looking forward to a fantastic, focused 2012, whereas before I was probably facing a fragmented, chasing-my-tail and getting nowhere year.
