How did I arrive at that as my niche?

Let me share my story with you.After graduating from MBA school, I worked in strategic communications for some amazing companies like Coca-Cola and Visa. I was a real adventurer and worked in five different countires – Canada, U.S. Holland, Vietnam and Singapore.
Even though I was in the corporate world, I always found myself in positions that allowed me to express my creativity and really run with things.
Until the end.
I will never forget sitting at an international meeting for a corporate client. I was 8 months pregnant with my first child. And I found myself checking out. I was in my late 30′s and knew that I didn’t want to go back to the corporate world, but I had no idea what I was going to do with myself.
I had already worked in marketing and coaching for years, but I decided to invest in some training to take my skills in these areas to a new level. I enrolled in some internet marketing training programs and also enrolled in International Coach Academy, so I could become a certified coach.I wrote a ton of content, created a blog, did video marketing, and learned social media. I generated leads and became profitable within a month. But I wasn’t earning enough based on the time I was spending on my business.
In my gut I knew what the problem was. I was in such a rush to start moving forward that I barely gave any thought to who my target market was and what their needs were.
That experience taught me a valuable lesson. If I, someone with an extensive background in market research and strategic communications, could make the mistake of not identifying my target market, then so could other people. And in all the coaching work I was doing, I found the lack of a clearly defined niche to be a primary challenge for solo entrepreneurs across the board.
That led me to put together a step-by-step system to help solo entrepreneurs find their ideal niche. When I used this system with my coaching clients, the results were fantastic. I saw people who had struggled to find their niche, nail it. I could then move on and help them learn how to use attraction marketing to attract their niche.
